We used some of the indoor plants for a propagation project. We had a master gardener walk us through steps to learn how to take cuttings, identify nodes, and choose the right growing medium. Instead of us (myself and the Master Gardener) leading every step, students worked in groups, checking resources to problem-solve on their own.\r\nStudents were applying information, troubleshooting, and assessing for desired outcomes. \r\n They are continuing to care for and grow their plant cuttings to again separate and propagate more plants. We hope to gift the teachers in our building with plants at the end of the year!
