We LOVE our new additional seating options and have used them faithfully since receiving them! The eagerness to use the items made the unboxing a quick, yet fun, classroom activity! Once the unboxing was complete, it was time to put our requested resources to the test. The first items used were the extra large marigold beanbags; they were specifically ordered for our reading corner and have been an awesome addition to the area! The students ask daily to visit the Reading Corner to complete work or enjoy a good book; as we all may know, more reading time can improve vocabulary and \"positively impacts writing and listening skills\".\r\n\r\nAlthough they 100 percent enjoy the beanbags, they also relish in the comfort of the floor pillows. I say with confidence that \"carpet time\" is now a more productive and valuable reading time as well. The floor pillows in conjunction with the lap desks have proven beneficial for peer-to-peer reading, small groups, and other activities, such as writing \"Thank You Cards/Letters\" to our donors. \r\n\r\nSo, again we say, THANK YOU donors!
