When the classes saw the whiteboard tables and rolling chairs there were many curious and exciting questions. They love being able to write on the tables as well as having the freedom to move in the rolling chairs. \r\nWhen it comes to solving math problems, whether practicing or completing a graded assignment, students are asking to write on the tables. It makes doing the work fun for them. Some students can only focus and do the work on the tables because pencil and paper cause them to shut down. \r\nMany students need to have the freedom to move in their seats and having access to rolling chairs gives them that freedom without causing disruptions. Students also know that having these items is a privilege that not all classrooms get therefore they treat the materials with respect as well as share with each other without being told. \r\nSo again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this class fun, exciting, and engaging. I work with 4-5 students a day at my small group table. We work on skills and standards that may be hard for some students to grasp. We work on cursive and writing informational writing, persuasive writing and opinion writing as well. I also have a co-teacher that comes in and will pull students to the back table when they have read a loud accommodations or small group. I like for my students to have a different type of seating other than their desk chairs at the table.
