Several students smiled, laughed, and expressed appreciation, showing that even small changes can make them feel cared for and valued. A pleasant classroom atmosphere has improved engagement, comfort, and overall morale.\r\n\r\nNext, my students will continue building technical and teamwork skills in a space that supports learning and professionalism. This is the first year 7th graders at my school actually had lab incorporated into their curriculum. The first experience the students had with the glasses was a Science Showcase Night. This night brought teachers, administrators, students, and families together for a night in which 7th grade students present what they have done in the lab this year. The students exhibit chemical and physical changes to the community. They performed experiments with alkaline seltzer, oil, and water to create lava lamps.
