I was about to loose my mind with all the water bottles tipping over clanking and spilling all the time. Our classroom is on the end of the hall so the water in our tap never gets very cold so the chilled water is great! It has been a huge hit with the students. I go to a local flowing well and fill up jugs every weekend to supply the class with great tasting cold water. \r\nThe strip lighting helped provide a softer light rather than keeping the overhead lights on. With windows on two sides of my room we get quite a bit of natural light, but on those cloudy days a little extra light is needed. \r\nHaving my own printer is proving invaluable. When I run out of extra copies and a student needs a new worksheet I can print one off on the spot rather than having to wait to get them from the copier on my next break. I have not printed a lot of color worksheets yet, but I have made some small posters and teaching aids that just look nicer when printed in color. As the year goes on I look forward to finding more ways to incorporate color into our learning.
