The balance beam, balance stones, and floor hand/foot cut outs have been used to make obstacle courses, while also supporting motor planning and balance skills. The sensory sand, rice, and play dough tools have helped students calm, while providing regulating tactile input. I pulled out the items over time and each time I set up something new, the kids were so excited to try them!
