Students now eagerly anticipate music and the books. I appreciate your donation to provide accessible music education to all students.\r\nThe desktop drums have added an energetic and rhythmic exploration of sound. Students have used these drums as an outlet for creative expression and collaboration. They have learned to drum patterns, found new sounds and styles of drumming, and been inspired to learn more, play more, and explore music in new ways. The collective energy and focused engagement during these sessions have been amazing. The ribbons have brought opportunities for kinesthetic learners to process information and for all students to release energy and improve focus during music. The karaoke has been a big hit and provided lots of laughter and lots of great singing. Students who don't normally participate have loved singing with their friends.\r\n\r\nThank you, again, for your incredible generosity and support. You provided provided us with materials, ignited a spark of curiosity, fostered a love of learning, and opened up a world of musical possibilities for my students. Allowing my students to have a snack each day, for some could be where they get their only snacks for the day. As growing students, often the lunches are not enough for them. \r\n\r\nHaving alternative activities for my students to complete such as bracelet making, diamond art or rainbow loom is essential. Our students are already benefiting in so many ways. One student particularly enjoys playing with the magnet tiles, using them as a reward after completing his work. Another loves the texture tiles, especially the mirror square, and finds joy in exploring its different surfaces. The marble run has been a favorite for all the students, and they love building intricate tracks. What's even more special is the newfound freedom they have to visit the sensory box and choose whatever item they need to help them regulate, whether it's for play or calmness.\r\n\r\nBefore we had these resources, the students had to share, and this often led to frustration and waiting their turn. Now, with enough sensory items for everyone, each student can grab what they need when they need it, helping them feel more in control. These tools have given our students new opportunities to practice self-regulation, especially when emotions run high. We are already seeing positive changes as they use these items to calm down and stay engaged. Thank you so much for helping us provide a space where our students can grow, learn, and thrive.
