Our students look forward to each Friday when a large group of students are called down to choose items out of the ROAR store to celebrate their exceptional behavior and leadership skills in the above areas! \r\n\r\nI was able to purchase many fun prizes for the students including fidgets, snacks, stickers, fun pens, etc... The students were all very excited to get their prizes. I love how our PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) committee helps students learn how to function and be successful in the community. They have to work on making the pictures in their heads instead of having them on a screen. The prizes also motivate them to work hard to learn their multiplication facts. \r\nMy students have also been earning prizes for making good choices and having conflict-free and trouble-free days by using coping strategies and by going to an adult when feeling upset, angry, frustrated, or overwhelmed to communicate their feelings and to problem-solve - coming up with a positive way to manage their feelings and to solve their problems. \r\nThe students are enthusiastic about earning the prizes and by all the smiles and successes I get to witness each day, I know it helps them to enjoy coming to class, learning together, and having fun. Your generosity and care are helping to make a big difference in many students lives.
