They couldn't wait to try out the new seating options and explore all the new recess equipment. The very first day, we took everything outside, and the joy on their faces said it all — they were running, laughing, and sharing in a way that brought our whole class closer together.\r\n\r\nInside the classroom, the new flexible seating has made such a difference. Students love having the choice to sit on wobble stools, cushions, or floor seats during reading and writing time. It's helped them stay more focused and comfortable while learning. I've noticed that even my most active students can concentrate longer and feel proud of their ability to make good seating choices.\r\n\r\nOutside, the new recess balls and equipment have made playtime more fun and inclusive. Students are learning to take turns, work as a team, and build friendships through play. One of my favorite moments was seeing a group of students start a game that included everyone — no one was left out, and the laughter filled the playground.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, my students are happier, more engaged, and learning important social and emotional skills every day. These resources have truly made our classroom and playground a more joyful place to learn and grow.","fullyFundedDate":1755689349235,"projectUrl":"project/supplies-for-bright-futures/9440722/","projectTitle":"Supplies for Bright Futures","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. McKenna","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10067812"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_71273","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1000,"numTeachers":40,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":99,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":0,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"25.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":63.2,"schoolId":71273,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Twin Cities International Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Twin Cities International Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/minnesota/minnesota-department-of-education/twin-cities-international-elementary-school/71273"}
