Students were curious, asking what we were getting, why, from whom, and what the intended use was. The best student reaction has to be to the funnels as the students used them to refill the bottle of fabric refresher. Fabric refresher is to eliminate static cling, and to refresh jackets or coats that are worn constantly. Students are getting used to the lens wipes for cleaning glasses and screens, and they ask for the Clorox wipes to wipe down desk tops, writing utensils, laptop covers and keyboards. The stapler is used almost daily and lives in its box which looks almost brand new. Students are carefully replacing caps on the expo markers, using tape neatly and carefully, and asking to take notes instead of annotating to decrease the printed paper usage. Overall, there's more organization and maintenance of materials. Prior to this project, at least 4 students per class period needed replacement copies of materials, now the number is down to 3 out of all students on my rosters. There is a welcome and unexpected shift to preservation and conservation of all materials, an impact that will last long past the year.\r\nThe support of the Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation ensured materials arrived sooner than expected, which meant I could adjust lesson plans. Our classroom walls are paneled with student projects from two separate courses, and students are discovering connections between the content through exposure, and without the teacher directly pointing it out. This exceeds the goal of the project to have material that supports instruction in study skills and workspace maintenance while subtly ensuring personal care and dignity.","fullyFundedDate":1758851380986,"projectUrl":"project/paper-produces-prodigious-ponderous-peop/9617033/","projectTitle":"Paper Produces Prodigious Ponderous People","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hicks","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3085696_orig.jpg?crop=960,960,x0,y160&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1596639413693","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/c-hicks"},{"teacherId":9111692,"projectId":9428179,"letterContent":"I want to express my heartfelt thanks for your generous donations to our classroom.
