When my students saw their individual kits with a mini whiteboard, marker, eraser, wipes, and a container to keep everything organized their faces lit up with smiles. These whiteboards quickly became a daily part of our classroom routine, especially during spelling and math lessons. Students enjoy writing their answers, solving problems, and showing their thinking, knowing they can erase and try again without worrying about making a mistake.\r\n\r\nWhen we first started using the whiteboards, I noticed a big change in my students. Many students became more confident and willing to participate. One student shared, \"I like the whiteboard because if I make a mistake, I can erase it and try again without feeling scared.\" The whiteboards have helped create a safe and low-stress learning environment where mistakes are okay and learning feels fun. During spelling practice, every student writes each word on their board and holds it up, which keeps everyone engaged and helps me quickly see who understands. In math, students proudly show their step-by-step work, which builds both skills and confidence.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students will continue using the whiteboards during new lessons, including our upcoming unit on fractions and more challenging math problems. Students will draw models, write equations, and explain their thinking during whole-group and small-group instruction. The confidence and excitement your support has helped build are guiding my students as they continue to grow as learners.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our classroom and helping my students learn with confidence, curiosity, and joy.","fullyFundedDate":1758568550628,"projectUrl":"project/write-solve-and-spell-whiteboards-for/9614755/","projectTitle":"Write, Solve, and Spell: Whiteboards for 3rd Grade Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. GANI","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10183930_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755410049497","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10183930"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_129901","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":70,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":99,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":0,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 7","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":82.4,"schoolId":129901,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Aspire Academy on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Aspire Academy","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/minnesota/minnesota-department-of-education/aspire-academy/129901"}
