One of the most impactful classroom moments so far was when we introduced a set of interactive reading tools, including the games and speech cards. The excitement in the room was palpable — my students were eager to use the new materials and immediately began practicing their reading fluency and pronunciation with more confidence.\r\n\r\nWhen they first saw the materials, they were thrilled! They've loved using the flashcards for pronunciation exercises and have become more enthusiastic during group readings. There's been a noticeable shift in their willingness to participate, and the extra practice has already had an impact on their reading progress.\r\n\r\nAs for next steps, we're focusing on using these resources each week. We'll also continue to integrate the new tools into daily lessons, where students will work on fluency, comprehension, and verbal expression.\r\n\r\nThe support from our donors has truly made a difference, and I can't wait to see how these new resources continue to shape my students' growth in the months ahead!","fullyFundedDate":1733259999409,"projectUrl":"project/the-building-blocks-of-reading-and-speak/8842609/","projectTitle":"The Building Blocks of Reading and Speaking","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Kolander","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9556508_orig.png?crop=404,404,x0,y16&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1717378052033","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9556508"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_48947","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":241,"numTeachers":15,"percentFrplEligible":39,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":84,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":7,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"16.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":50.0,"schoolId":48947,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Jackson County Central Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Jackson County Central Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/minnesota/jackson-county-central-school-district-2895/jackson-co-central-middle-school/48947"}
