As a behavior interventionist, I work with students preschool through fifth grade in a small group setting in which we learn about, discuss, and practice social skills. Your donations of books, board games, fidgets, and learning tools have directly impacted their learning! In an attempt to practice many of our social skills, we have game days each week. This helps us practice taking turns, working through challenging situations, and practicing good sportsmanship. The students were so excited to see new games added to the shelves. Sequence and Yahtzee have become quick favorites among the older students and Pop-Up Pirate has quickly become a favorite among younger students. Additionally, the fidgets have quickly been put to use and many students have benefited from them. Thank you for all of your support!
