For many of them, this was their first experience using a hands-on cutting tool that allows them to truly build what they imagine.\r\n\r\nThis tool has transformed our creative process. Instead of relying on pre-cut materials, students can now explore problem-solving, measurement, design thinking, and craftsmanship in a much deeper and more authentic way. They are developing real-world skills while discovering the joy of building something from start to finish.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students are planning collaborative projects such as kinetic sculptures, bridge challenges, and STEAM-inspired art installations. These Playgrounds have quickly become a favorite part of the day — giving students the chance to move, laugh, and work together while building focus and confidence.\r\n\r\nWe've been using the Nex Playgrounds during movement breaks and in small group activities. They've helped students release energy in positive ways, making it easier for them to return to class ready to learn. The cooperative games encourage teamwork and communication, allowing students of all abilities to participate and succeed together. The protective cases have been wonderful too — keeping our equipment safe and organized so we can use it daily without worry.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our students now have an engaging, inclusive way to stay active and connected. These resources have really helped to positively impact my students ability to engage with a piece of text. I have not seen this level of engagement from them before. I am very excited to see how this improves their overall reading levels as the school year progresses. \r\n\r\nWe have currently finished the month of Septembers magazines and my students are already asking questions about what the next months stories will be! As a self contained special education teacher it is often difficult to get students to engage with text. These magazines have opened that door for me. Students are already using it when they need a short break, and then they return to class ready to learn. The Expo markers are being put to great use as students proudly show their work, and the highlighter tape has been an excellent tool for learning about longitude and latitude on our world map.\r\n\r\nWe've even had some bumps and \"ouches\" already, but thanks to the cold packs, students can take care of themselves quickly without missing valuable class time.
