Your gift will impact our students in many ways; Following are three examples.\r\n\r\nFirst, your donation provides our school with high-quality materials for our staff to utilize during instruction. Students will be able to practice and learn skills being taught with age-appropriate, durable equipment. It is important that students learn basketball skills with balls that are matched to their size. These balls are the correct size for our students. They are well-made and should last for years.\r\n\r\nSecondly, Your donation will impact extra-curricular activities. We will make these basketballs available for our coaches to use with our students during practice. Again, students will be practicing and learning skills with quality and correctly matched equipment. Our coaches are volunteers and are not expected to provide the necessary equipment for their teams. These basketballs will thus extend our students' learning outside the regular school day.\r\n\r\nLastly, your gift will allow our students to participate in and prepare for community events. Previously, we did not have the requisite equipment or enough of it for our staff to complete building level events like the Elks Hoop Shoot. We are now able to do this, and planning on our students to compete in the next event, and many more for years to come.\r\n\r\nOnce again, I thank you both for your generous and thoughtful donation","fullyFundedDate":1731933048494,"projectUrl":"project/basketball-for-third-fourth-grade-girl/8591470/","projectTitle":"Basketball for Third & Fourth Grade Girls & Boys","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Chevillot","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9636127"},{"teacherId":5952220,"projectId":8876242,"letterContent":"Mr. and Mrs. Cooper, \r\nNot only have you been our key to dental health the past 10 years, you and your family have shown us what one family can do for the health and moral of a of a small community. \r\n\r\nThe children of Washington School and I want to express our gratitude for your generous donation of cushions for our music classroom.
