We have so many students with high anxiety and for them to be able to come down to the library and use a pop it fidget or sit in a bean bag chair has been absolutely spectacular. \r\n\r\nStudents need to take many breaks throughout the day. The school day is long and it is a lot of sitting in uncomfortable seating. The students can't decide whether their favorite materials are the fidgets or the lights that keep the classroom calm and serene. I see students from every class grab a fidget when they come in, and they are able to use them without any noise or fuss.\r\n\r\nI have set up a \"calming corner\" of sorts, with materials students can grab to help them get organized and regulate themselves, and students will go there to grab a chair band, fidget, gum, or a planner page.
