These sets allow more students to have the text in their hands during genre-based writing time, making it easier for them to reference, analyze, and draw inspiration for their own writing.\r\n\r\nBefore your donation, each teacher only had one copy of each book, which made it difficult for students to reference the text while working on their writing projects. Now, with multiple copies in students' hands, teachers can guide them more effectively, and students can revisit the books as they write, cite examples, and build their skills with confidence.\r\n\r\nThese books are already making a difference. They provide students with mirrors to see themselves, windows to explore the experiences of others, and sliding doors to step into new perspectives. Our students light up when they see characters and experiences that reflect their own lives, and they are equally curious and engaged when introduced to new cultures and ways of thinking.\r\n\r\nYour generosity didn't just put books in classrooms—it put opportunities for deeper learning directly into the hands of our young writers. Thank you for supporting our teachers, our students, and the power of literature. You are helping us nurture empathy, understanding, and creativity in the next generation.","fullyFundedDate":1753043755808,"projectUrl":"project/cultural-books/9260409/","projectTitle":"Cultural Books","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Shafer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9637156"},{"teacherId":9637156,"projectId":8595033,"letterContent":"On behalf of the students and myself, I want to thank you for your generous donation of dry-erase boards, markers, and index cards. These materials will make a tremendous difference in the classrooms as the teachers work on building vocabulary through morpheme study. \r\n\r\nWith your support, the students will be able to engage in hands-on, interactive learning that helps them break down words, recognize patterns, and strengthen their language skills. These tools will enhance their learning experience and make the process more enjoyable and meaningful. Students will use the index cards to create a review pack of morphemes to help them build their vocabulary. They will use the dry-erase boards and markers to write the meanings of the morphemes. \r\n\r\nYour kindness and generosity are truly appreciated, and we are so grateful for the positive impact you have on our education.
