We take the time to go over unknown words and define them at the end of the week. My students vocabulary is expanding thanks to these new books. Druing our social studies lessons I have students read the \"Who Was\" books that connect to each topic. They then present their presentations to the whole class so that all level readers can learn more about these famous historians.\r\n\r\nThere are about three quarters of my classroom that enjoys reading these books. They love to learn about new people and they enjoy talking to me and their classmates about what they learned about the famous historian. \r\n\r\nI cannot thank you enough for your kindness and generosity. I am using them for the other students who do not have a \"Who Was\" book. Helping children stay interested in reading is crucial to their growth. Through your donation I am able to ensure that they stay interested in reading. They were upset that they could not go outside and I was able to pull out these items and make them happy and keep them warm thanks to your kindness. \r\n\r\nMy students are given a snack everyday and they also appreciate them. Food insecurity is, unfortunately, something that my students have to face. I make sure they have snacks at school and even some for home if they need it.
