Having a water dispenser in our classroom encourages students to stay hydrated, take care of their bodies, and build healthy habits. My students have been so excited to have this resource available to them, and it has helped make drinking water a simple part of our daily routine!\r\n\r\nOne of the best parts has been watching students take responsibility for their own hydration by filling their cups and remembering to drink water throughout the day. As kindergarteners, we are always working on becoming more independent, and this is one more way they can practice taking care of themselves. It has also opened up conversations about why drinking water is important and how it helps our bodies and brains stay healthy and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, we will keep building on these healthy habits and talking about the importance of making healthy choices. I am so thankful to everyone who helped make this project possible.
