The kids were so excited to have new materials and especially excited when they learned they were open ended supplies that could be used in conjunction with other materials. We have started implementing STEM days in our centers where we explore a real world problem, research things, plan out responses and then get to test ideas. One day we looked at bridge building, researched materials and procedures and then added in our own ideas.
