In all of my classes there are students who will rush in to lay their claim on for the day on that corner. The lighting also makes a huge difference. It's a great way to get get our question of the day/week involved in a different way. I use the Bluetooth speaker on work days. I had a lot of students grabbing stuff in the morning and before they would leave for home, which I expected. Myself, like my students don't like the fluorescent lighting. First of all, I have had so many students benefit from the breakfast bars. I have multiple students stop in daily, many of whom I know do not get the nutrition that they need at home. I even sent a couple of students home with some extras over break to ensure they had a little extra to eat.\r\n\r\nThe activities were a big hit. I did both of the leadership activities with my advisory classes and they asked to do more of them. I loved seeing that group of students come together and I can't wait to use it more with other groups.\r\n\r\nLastly, I appreciate the balloons for my balloon club. As you can see, my students love learning how to make new creations and share them with the school and community.
