I am a newer teacher and did not have many of the things that make a classroom an environment in which students are comfortable. The items that I received have really changed the look and feel of my classroom for the better!\r\n\r\nI now have a comfortable reading corner with a bean bag chair, blankets, pillows, and a fuzzy rug on the ground. In all of my classes there are students who will rush in to lay their claim on for the day on that corner. The lighting also makes a huge difference. It's a great way to get get our question of the day/week involved in a different way. I use the Bluetooth speaker on work days. We will either play music or I will put a calming YouTube video on and play it through the speaker. My treat box ran out within the 1st month or so. I had a lot of students grabbing stuff in the morning and before they would leave for home, which I expected. Myself, like my students don't like the fluorescent lighting. The lamp has been a nice addition to my room. \r\n\r\nThanks again to everyone who donated.
