These tables have already made such a positive difference in our learning environment, and I am so grateful for the support you've given my students.\r\n\r\nWe are using the new tables every single day. The extra space has created more opportunities for collaboration and hands-on learning. During a recent social studies project, students worked together in small groups to design maps of their community. Having these larger tables gave each group the room to spread out their materials, share ideas comfortably, and stay engaged in their work. It was so rewarding to watch their creativity flourish in a space that finally fit their needs.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first walked in and saw the new tables set up, their faces lit up. They immediately noticed how much more room we had and couldn't wait to sit down and test them out. Many commented on how \"big\" and \"nice\" our classroom looked now. Their excitement and pride in their learning space was truly priceless.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our next step is to use these tables for literacy stations. Students will rotate between phonics, reading, and writing groups, and the extra space will allow them to focus better and participate more actively. The tables are helping us build an environment where collaboration, creativity, and learning can truly thrive.\r\n\r\nThank you again for giving my students the gift of space to learn, grow, and succeed. Your kindness has had a direct impact on their daily experiences, and we are so grateful for your support.","fullyFundedDate":1749223626880,"projectUrl":"project/room-to-learn-tables-for-a-flexible-cla/9378007/","projectTitle":"Room to Learn: Tables for a Flexible Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ludwig","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7897745_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1748621876537","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7897745"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_72861","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":397,"numTeachers":26,"percentFrplEligible":77,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":80,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":12,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"15.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":83.8,"schoolId":72861,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Lawton Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Lawton Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/michigan/lawton-community-school-district/lawton-elementary-school/72861"}
