The students were eager to use the inks and practiced in their sketchbooks various techniques. They learned how to assemble the pens, dip the pens, or feed the pens. They learned how to care for and clean the pens and store them correctly. Stippling and cross hatching techniques. While there was not enough time for a big project this year, when they get to high school and take art, they will be familiar with the media.\r\n\r\nAgain thank you for contributing to the art program here at LMS, The students here are wonderful and will use your gift in years to come. I am able to supplement with more inks to refill the jars and plan bigger projects involving inks this school year. Your generosity made it possible to decrease chaos and increase success for kids who struggle with getting assignments turned in on time.\r\n\r\nThe joy of no missing work on a Friday, having the review packet ready to turn in, and knowing that papers from Science are not mixed with Math is real. That joy can turn into confidence as kids increase independence taking care of their work. Color coding, extra dividers, and sturdy folders make it easier for kids who need a routine to keep them on track.
