Some students do not have access to supplies at home to draw pictures and write about what they drew. At school, students use journals to share about their family, their weekends, their favorite food and animals. It gives students full control of what they get to create. \r\n\r\nThese journals are used weekly and the progress of writing and drawing gets documented throughout the year. So far this week, students have drawn their family and their favorite animal and they have practiced the writing about what they drew. \r\n\r\nStudents are always excited to have something that is just their own and that they get to use the whole year.
