I use them during small-group instruction, whole-class discussions, and even student presentations. Because they're mobile, I can move them around the room so every student can clearly see important notes, examples, and visual aids—no matter where they're seated. Students also use them during group work to brainstorm ideas, map out story plots, and track literary themes together. \r\n\r\nDuring our short story unit, students worked in groups to analyze symbolism and irony in \"The Scarlet Ibis.\" Each group used a rolling whiteboard to visually organize their ideas before presenting their findings to the class. Seeing students crowd around the boards—discussing, erasing, revising, and sketching out their thoughts—was such a powerful reminder of how collaborative learning can be when students have the right tools.\r\n\r\nMy students were thrilled when they saw the white boards. A few immediately asked if they could use the new boards during group projects. Many commented on how nice it was to finally be able to see everything clearly during lessons, especially from the back of the room. It made the classroom feel more dynamic and interactive right away.","fullyFundedDate":1746660472315,"projectUrl":"project/rolling-into-learning-reversible-white/9226044/","projectTitle":"\"Rolling into Learning: Reversible Whiteboards for Engagement\"","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Krieg","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9425918_orig.jpg?crop=2400,2400,x0,y152&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1737999377452","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrskrieg"},{"teacherId":9425918,"projectId":8128081,"letterContent":"Your generous donations have allowed my students to experience a more individualized classroom that meets their needs.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the new materials they were excited to use them.
