One notable moment was when we used the new rosin for our bows. The students were excited to have this new tool, and it made a noticeable difference in the sound of their instruments. Their tone was richer, and they had more control over their playing. It was rewarding to see how such a small change could boost their confidence and sound quality.\r\n\r\nWhen the percussionists first saw the practice drum pads, there was an immediate wave of enthusiasm. Many of them were thrilled to take the pads home, as it gave them the opportunity to practice and refine their skills outside of school hours, something that was difficult to do before without the proper tools. They also expressed how grateful they were for the chance to keep the pads, as it meant they could practice consistently. It was heartwarming to see how motivated they were to improve, and it sparked a deeper sense of ownership over their learning.\r\n\r\nThe instrument repair kit has been an absolute game-changer. In a Title I school like ours, resources are limited, and the equipment we have often needs repairs. With this kit, I've been able to fix instruments on the spot, ensuring that no student is left without a functional instrument due to wear and tear. I've used it countless times to help students continue their learning without delay, and it has saved us from the high costs of professional repairs.\r\n\r\nBecause of all of these things, we were able to have a very successful first concert on December 4th, which can be viewed on YouTube as \"Woodworth Middle School Winter Concert\".
