The students were excited to try the centers. This year I am teaching a self contained class of kindergarten to 2nd graders who have autism. The children really love the sensory breaks when we use the bubble machine. The bubbles really help the students regulate their emotions when they are upset. \r\nMy students did not recognize the materials when I first took it out the box. Once they saw the bubbles, one student said bubbles and smiled. Multiple children tried to catch the bubbles and smiled.\r\nAt this time, we are currently looking to update our classroom library. My current project is book binding spirals so that we can offer adaptive, interactive books for the students to use in the classroom.
