These hands-on materials provide a structured, calming way for students to explore letters and sounds through touching, sorting, and naming real objects. One powerful moment occurred when a student who often hesitates to participate independently picked up an object, identified its beginning sound, and placed it in the correct tub. He paused, smiled proudly, and said, \"I did it.\" Moments like this are incredibly meaningful, as these resources support both academic growth and emotional confidence.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the Alphabet Tubs, their excitement was immediate. Many of my students benefit from predictable, engaging materials, and they were eager to open each tub, explore the objects, and share their discoveries. Students who sometimes struggle with attention or frustration remained engaged longer, practicing sounds and helping peers. The tubs created a positive, low-pressure learning environment where students felt successful, safe, and motivated to try.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our literacy instruction, students will use the Alphabet Tubs to support early spelling, word building, and independent reading readiness. These materials will help students connect sounds to letters, build simple words, and strengthen the foundational skills necessary for reading success. Most importantly, they are helping students develop confidence in themselves as learners. Your support has provided not just literacy tools, but opportunities for my students to experience pride, independence, and joy in learning. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1752505312268,"projectUrl":"project/alphabet-tubs-for-learning/9245744/","projectTitle":"Alphabet Tubs for Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Raap","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5497627_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1551322219696","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5497627"},{"teacherId":5497627,"projectId":9070374,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for donating to our classroom!
