These resources helped me create a fun and engaging learning environment that lead to students achieving their reading goals. My students especially enjoyed the kinetic sand and reading games. The kinetic sand didn't work exactly as I planned, so I had to modify the lessons a bit. We built the letters instead of tracing them in the sand. The beach balls were a fun way to keep students focused on retelling stories and listening to their peers. They would ask and/or respond to questions and toss the ball to their partner for their response. I noticed that students participated much more with the beach balls than without them. \r\nWe had a celebration of achievement at the end of the year. My students loved the bubbles.
