Your support has brought essential 21st-century technology right into our hands, allowing us to move beyond outdated or shared devices and give every student equitable access to powerful tools for exploration and discovery.\r\nThis MacBook Air is already making a huge difference in our unit on semiconductors—the building blocks of modern electronics like computers, smartphones, and solar cells. Students are using it to run interactive simulations of electron behavior in doped materials, visualize band gaps and p-n junctions, and experiment with online circuit builders (like logic gate simulators) to see how semiconductors enable digital logic and transistors. These hands-on digital activities bring abstract concepts to life: kids can adjust variables in real time, observe how impurities create conductors or insulators, and even design simple virtual chips—helping them grasp why semiconductors are key to today's tech-driven world in ways textbooks alone never could.\r\nYour generosity is inspiring our students to think like future engineers and innovators, sparking curiosity and deeper questions about how the devices they use every day actually work. From the entire class, thank you for believing in us and investing in their bright futures—we promise to make the most of this gift all year long!","fullyFundedDate":1760924092654,"projectUrl":"project/stories-and-semiconductors/9545615/","projectTitle":"Stories and Semiconductors","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Krasselt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10042574_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754499264493","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10042574"},{"teacherId":9924997,"projectId":9929293,"letterContent":"Having enough ink to print the material and curriculum for my students Is amazing. As a special ed teacher, I am given a curriculum to use for my students. I have to search, ask, and borrow either pre-made worksheets or pre-made curriculum packets. From there, I usually have to differentiate the materials and print more worksheets and the curriculum so I can have them at the correct levels for my students. This adds up to a lot of printing. Some of it is OK to do in black and white, but some students need to have the worksheets done in color so they can see what is on the page and access the curriculum. This adds up to a lot of printer ink.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher, I invest a lot of my own money into the classroom and for my students. Some years, I can barely afford to replace the ink or colored ink for the entire school year. I cannot express how wonderful it has been to receive replacement ink from the generous donors. It provides me with tremendous relief. I am appreciative and thankful for your generosity and thoughtfulness.","fullyFundedDate":1765568321052,"projectUrl":"project/replacement-toner-for-brother-printer/9929293/","projectTitle":"Replacement Toner for Brother Printer","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gervais","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9924997_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1742997708941","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9924997"},{"teacherId":9515679,"projectId":9761947,"letterContent":"Your donations have not gone unnoticed in the classroom.
