The new trap table has been delivered, assembled, and we've had a few rehearsals with it already. We actually made it to one yesterday with our new table! And then, of course, from across the room, something else hit the floor at the end of rehearsal. The defeated sigh from all of the students as I set us back to zero on the official count was, well, loud. Haha.\r\n\r\nThank you all so much! We set it up and used it for the first time last week, and not only does it sound so much better than the previous drum we replaced, but the students are all showing a renewed interest in learning their parts!\r\n\r\nIt gave us the opportunity to have a frank discussion on the topic of philanthropy as well, which is something we don't typically to take part in. The students and I all agreed that giving when you are able can make a tremendous difference, and have agreed to be more giving when the opportunity arises in the future.\r\n\r\nThank you again for helping to bring this project to my students.
