I have been able to use the Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards to purchase additional centers that align with this new program. My students are able to get additional practice in each phonics skill because of your donations. \r\n\r\nI have also used the gift cards to purchase homework assignments for my students. As my students are all still learning English, providing them with homework that they can do independently has been a struggle in the past. I've already noticed how much more relaxed and on-task everyone is!\r\n\r\nThe magnets have also been incredibly helpful for displaying classroom expectations. Because of your kindness, my science classroom now has a beautiful new carpet and a handy carpet sweeper—both of which are making a significant difference in our daily learning experiences. As a specialist teacher who sees students for 40-minute blocks throughout the day, having a welcoming and functional space is essential, and your donation has helped transform our classroom into exactly that.\r\n\r\nFrom the moment the carpet was unrolled and placed in our gathering area, it was clear that this would be a cherished addition to our room. My youngest learners—especially my kindergarten and first-grade students—were absolutely thrilled. Their eyes lit up as they stepped onto the soft, colorful surface for the first time. The carpet helps me establish a predictable routine with students as they enter the room. They know to come in, sit on the carpet, and get ready to explore the world of science. This consistent structure has been incredibly helpful in creating a safe, focused environment—especially important since my time with each class is limited. It's also proven invaluable for helping students transition smoothly from their homerooms to my classroom.\r\n\r\nThe carpet sweeper has also been an unsung hero in maintaining our classroom environment. Because I see several groups of students throughout the day, quick and efficient cleanup is crucial. This simple tool allows us to keep our new carpet clean and inviting for every class. Sometimes I even have student helpers eager to take on the responsibility of \"sweeping duty\" at the end of class. It's become a fun part of our routine and reinforces the idea that we all take care of our learning space together.\r\n\r\nYour support has helped me create a more comfortable, engaging, and collaborative environment for my students.
