Because stations mean whiteboards, lapboards, highlighting, movement, and collaboration—everything that makes learning feel real and engaging to 14- and 15-year-olds.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, we now have magnetic easels and lapboards that let students stand up and think visibly—categorizing historical documents, debating DBQ claims, and mapping cause-and-effect in real time. One group even wrote, \"These docs belong together because they both show exclusion of religion\"—analyzing sources like historians during a lesson on religious tolerance and persecution.\r\n\r\nWe've also introduced annotation tools to help students \"highlight like historians\" and fidget tools to help them refocus when the thinking gets tough. Whether it's tracking SPICE-T themes across empires or brainstorming arguments for a DBQ, these tools make rigorous learning joyful, hands-on, and accessible for all learners.\r\n\r\n\"I like stations because I actually get to do the thinking. Not just sit and listen—I can write it out, talk it out, and see it on the board.\" — 9th Grade Student\r\n\r\nThanks to you, 115 students are engaged in active learning every day—and building the study skills, academic voice, and confidence they need to thrive.
