The excitement was contagious the moment the box of puppets arrived—my students could hardly contain themselves. They were eager to dive in, and their eyes lit up as we unpacked each puppet. Right away, they began assigning names and voices, letting their imaginations take the lead. It was pure joy!\r\n\r\nThese puppets have quickly become an essential part of our phonics and storytelling lessons. We've been using them during \"Alphabet Adventures,\" where students help guide puppet characters through activities that reinforce letter sounds and oral language skills. Even my quietest learners have found their voice through these engaging, hands-on moments. One student who often hesitates to participate was confidently leading a puppet parade just last week!\r\n\r\nThanks to you, our classroom has become even more joyful, creative, and inclusive. The moment my students saw the new sensory table materials, their faces absolutely lit up. They couldn't wait to dig in—literally! From scooping and pouring to exploring textures and working together, these tools have been a game changer for our young learners.\r\n\r\nThe sensory table has quickly become a daily favorite and a space for so much meaningful play and discovery. Whether they're sorting pom-poms, exploring kinetic sand, or using tweezers to build fine motor skills, my students are learning through every giggle and grain. The kids have been loving the treats, and it's been such a big help in our classroom. We keep the snacks in a special drawer, (it is self-serve, the kids don't even have to ask!) and whenever a child forgets their snack, they can grab one from there. It's been a lifesaver for those days when a little one doesn't have their snack with them. One child, in particular, often forgets to bring something from home, so having this extra stash has made a huge difference for that child. They're always so excited when they get to pick something out!\r\n\r\nWhat makes this donation even more special is that it's from someone right here in Hull! It feels amazing to know that our community supports us in such a thoughtful way. The kids absolutely love knowing there's a backup snack available, and it's also a great way to teach them about sharing and helping each other out. We're so grateful for your support – it really means a lot to all of us! \r\n\r\nDisclaimer... a giant bag of Dum Dum lollipops somehow ended up in our delivery (wink wink) ...which, of course, has been a SUPER AWESOME surprise for the entire kindergarten grade level every few Fridays here and there!
