The seat cushions have been a huge help since we don't have a rug—students now have their own comfortable space during circle time, which has made activities like rhythm games, group singing, and discussions much more focused and organized. The face masks have also helped us continue learning together safely while still enjoying the fun of making music.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their excitement was priceless. They immediately rushed to pick out cushions, and the treasure box items quickly became a favorite incentive that motivates them to stay engaged and try their best. Looking ahead, these resources will continue to support consistent routines in our classroom. The cushions make group transitions smoother, and the masks allow us to safely keep building community. Every one of these items has a daily impact, and together they are helping my students grow musically, socially, and academically.","fullyFundedDate":1753972010865,"projectUrl":"project/comfort-creativity-care-classroom-es/9495540/","projectTitle":"Comfort, Creativity & Care: Classroom Essentials for Happy Learners!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Johnson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9714451_orig.jpg?crop=1397,1397,x51,y128&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1724869812883","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9714451"},{"teacherId":4647928,"projectId":9203238,"letterContent":"The fifth grade scholars in my class would like to thank you for your donations to our classroom! Whether it's updated technology, engaging books, or flexible seating options, each tool has allowed me to tailor lessons more effectively to my students' diverse learning styles. With these resources, I'm able to create a more interactive, student-centered environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking. It's also helped me streamline my classroom management, so I can focus more on teaching and less on logistics.\r\n\r\nShare a favorite classroom moment highlighting how this project has impacted your students.\r\nOne of my favorite moments was watching a student who typically struggles with confidence take the lead in a small group project using one of our new tools. With the hands-on materials funded by this project, he was able to explore a concept in a way that finally clicked for him. The smile on his face when he shared his group's findings with the class was unforgettable — and the applause he got from his peers was the cherry on top. That moment truly captured the impact of your generosity.\r\n\r\nIs there another skill you are excited to grow as a teacher, or an upcoming topic you're looking forward to teaching your students?\r\nI'm currently focused on growing my skills in project-based learning and integrating more STEM activities into my curriculum. I'm particularly excited about an upcoming unit where students will design simple machines and test their prototypes — a hands-on, inquiry-based project that builds collaboration, resilience, and problem-solving skills. With the foundation your support helped build, I feel more confident taking on these ambitious lessons and helping my students reach new heights.","fullyFundedDate":1741357532351,"projectUrl":"project/elevating-teacher/9039273/","projectTitle":"Elevating Teacher","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Vanalstyne-Williams","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9570758_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1719088630084","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9570758"},{"teacherId":6606339,"projectId":8396757,"letterContent":"I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of laminating sheets to my classroom. When my students first saw them, their faces lit up with excitement. Many had never played a real xylophone before, so they were eager to explore the sounds and experiment with melodies. We started by learning simple patterns and rhythms, and it was amazing to see their confidence grow as they worked together to create music. \r\n\r\nThese instruments have already transformed our lessons. One of the most memorable moments was during our unit on melody and accompaniment, where students composed short pieces in small groups. They took turns playing melodies while their classmates provided rhythmic support, learning firsthand how music comes together. Moving forward, we will use the xylophones for improvisation exercises and ensemble performances, allowing students to develop creativity and teamwork through music. \r\n\r\nYour support has made a lasting impact, and I cannot thank you enough.
