They have received the tickets for making wise decisions, like helping their fellow classmates, participating in a conversation, being attentive during independent work, and/or demonstrating persistence while doing difficult assignments.\r\n\r\nStudents were very happy to see these materials; the reward system became a definite positive goal for them to achieve, and I can already see how students inspire each other to make positive choices.\r\n\r\nDuring the upcoming year, children will use this system to foster better classroom behavior and cooperation, as well as participation in reading and writing activities.\r\n\r\nThank you for providing my students not just materials but also inspiration and motivation!","fullyFundedDate":1758290992907,"projectUrl":"project/ticket-to-success-rewarding-student-ach/9643399/","projectTitle":"Ticket to Success: Rewarding Student Achievement","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mansfield","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6349005_orig.jpg?crop=350,350,x8,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1629041848692","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6349005"},{"teacherId":1863084,"projectId":9745137,"letterContent":"The calculators have been one of the best additions to my classroom yet! The new magnifying lenses and dissection microscopes haven't seen a lot of use yet, but as we move into new subjects in forensic science and biology, we'll be using them more and more. \r\n\r\nI especially loved hearing students' comments when they first realized how the new magnifying lenses could be switched between a hand-held lens and a hands-free lens. It was like a game-changer for them, especially when it comes to looking at things like fingerprints or insects. \r\n\r\nThe magnifying lenses especially will be very useful in the coming units for forensics, as we look at smaller and smaller types of evidence. Biology will certainly be using them later in the year with our stream study and other outdoors activities in the spring. \r\n\r\nWe all really appreciate the support and I, personally, am always speechless by how generous others can be with regards to students they have never met.
