I was able to create a \"Calm Corner\" in my classroom that is used by students when they are feeling upset, need time alone, or a quick brain break. My 4th grade students have respected these items because they appreciate getting the opportunity to use them. I also allow my students to use this corner during indoor recess because of how much they enjoy the calm area and fidget tools. \r\n\r\nOne day during indoor recess, a couple of my students asked me where the chairs and fidgets came from, which allowed me to have a conversation with them about Donors Choose! In this conversation, they expressed their gratitude for the \"cool stuff\" that was donated! Thanks again for your contribution towards my Calm Corner.
