These books are being utilized during our WIN time (What I Need). Each group created based off of specific skills, content, or strategies they need most practice on. This is also when we do our Imagine Math time (thank you so much Imagine math for your large donation, our students wrote you cards and we gave them to your rep when she was here last.)\r\n\r\nWe also greatly appreciate the base ten kit. First and foremost, I am a departmentalized math teacher for 60 3rd grade students. The notebooks are being used for \"Story Structure\" time, where my 3rd graders deep dive into a story problem at the beginning of every class period. This may sound simple, but we are working to grow our MCAP scores, and working to bridge the gap between math and reading. I would say the students were MOST excited about the tower games. They LOVE Jenga, especially when dealing with math. I have the multiplication tower game already, so adding the addition tower game was a huge plus. Thank you so much for everything you purchased-- the glue is for the story structure notebooks so that students can glue the problems in (we go through a TON), the cardstock and paper is for math games, and the headphones are used daily for our online math platform, I-Ready.","fullyFundedDate":1733407426878,"projectUrl":"project/grade-3-math-centers/8961048/","projectTitle":"Grade 3 Math Centers","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Brant","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3182137_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756756994890","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3182137"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_66347","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":319,"numTeachers":29,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":75,"percentWhite":4,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":12,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"11.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":51.9,"schoolId":66347,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Choptank Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Choptank Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/maryland/dorchester-county-public-schools/choptank-elementary-school/66347"}
