Thank you again for coming through and providing me and other educators with the things we need to find success. I could come up with eloqent word of gratitude to express my appreciation, but instead I want to share a story with you that, I hope, helps you really understand how impactful your support is.\r\nLet me first share some background info. I have been blessed with support a few years in a row now, and I have been able to fully utilize many of the things I recieved so that I have supplies for the years to come. This year I mostly needed cosmetic things - cleaning supplies, crafts to do activities, and even fidget to give to students. One thing I recieved was a handheld vacuum. We have mice, we have lunch bunches, we have groups - vacuuming is necessary. \r\nNow, the story... I have a fourth grade student who enjoys coming to my office for lunch bunches. One day, as she sat in a bean chair watching Zootopia, she noticed my handheld vacuum and asked what it was. I explained it was a little vacuum used to clean up all the little crumbs and other things left behind by students and sadly mice. She was floored. She asked how it worked and if I would show her, which I did. She was estatic. She had never seen or heard of a handheld vacuum and she told me it would change life at home if they had one of these. She now comes to my office whenever she has time... whenever she is stressed... whenever things become tough... she comes to create a little mess, then vacuum it up with my handheld vacuum. She loves doing it, and it calms her. She loves it not because she likes cleaning, but because it is something she had never been exposed to and honestly, it makes life a bit... easier. A simple tool I take for granted had been the highlight of her month. \r\nWe often don't realize how impactful our exsistence is to our students. The things we do and teach them matter. The donations you all provide help us to impact lives. Though thank you feels inadequate, I thank you for your support. It menas everything.","fullyFundedDate":1763769442236,"projectUrl":"project/smooth-sailing-25-26-needs-for-the-ne/9496343/","projectTitle":"Smooth Sailing '25-'26: Needs for the New Year!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Armstrong","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9111282_orig.jpg?crop=914,914,x32,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1689985308809","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/makingtheyearawesome24-25"},{"teacherId":8018425,"projectId":9615513,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donations to my classroom.
