However it is wonderful people like you that give me, and teachers like me, the strength to move forever onwards and upwards for our needy students and scholars.\r\n\r\nOur students love being able to use the headsets to learn, listen and speak. As these are quality headsets, they do not need to worry about the headset breaking after only a few uses. Additionally, they are able to use the headsets in independent activity centers or for individual learning needs during whole group instruction. \r\n\r\nStudents with broken headsets often need to do their independent computer work with the programs' sound muted. This means without your generous donation, these students would have had to rely solely on their reading skills and visual cues to learn! Wirhout the ability to connect text to speech would only further the digital divide between inner city and suburban student learning. Additionally, with additional headsets, I can finally create my own lessons to support student learning while they are a) in another class, b) to review to help with homework and c) help them complete class work when they are absent. Having more headsets really helps with all of this, because students now have almost daily access to headsets AND we have enough to allow a dozen students to borrow headsets overnight to use at home. \r\n\r\nMany of my students are particularly thrilled with the headsets, they are the most high quality headsets students have ever seen.\r\nOne student was so enamored with the headsets she asked for her own pair if she made honor roll this year!","fullyFundedDate":1730397395391,"projectUrl":"project/bridging-the-digital-divide-having-heads/8698887/","projectTitle":"Bridging The Digital Divide Having Headsets For Multilingual Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Chen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9001190_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x376,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1690864043477","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mls"},{"teacherId":4941507,"projectId":9088322,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation!
