What may seem like small, everyday necessities have become powerful tools for restoring confidence and dignity. Students now have access to what they need to feel clean, prepared, and focused on learning.\r\nWhen I first introduced the project, the response from students was immediate and heartfelt. Many expressed gratitude, some quietly, some with visible relief. One student shared that knowing these items are available \"takes away one more thing to worry about.\" The simple reassurance that support exists, without questions or judgment—has meant more than we anticipated.\r\nThe next steps for our project include:\r\nExpanding inventory to ensure consistent availability of high-demand items\r\nCreating discreet access systems to protect student privacy\r\nPartnering with additional community organizations for sustained support\r\nIncorporating wellness education to further empower students in self-care\r\nThis hygiene closet is more than a resource, it is a statement. It tells our students that they are seen, valued, and worthy of care every single day.\r\nThank you for helping us build a space where dignity is protected and students can walk into the classroom confident and ready to succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1761155168558,"projectUrl":"project/hygiene-closet-take-what-you-need/9580276/","projectTitle":"Hygiene Closet: Take What You Need","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Brown","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7741341_orig.png?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1689963249986","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7741341"},{"teacherId":8025097,"projectId":7617679,"letterContent":"I would like to sincerely thank you for the generous technology donations you provided to my class—an iPad, an iPad pencil, and a laptop. Your kindness has made a tremendous difference in our classroom and has given my students access to tools that they would not have otherwise had the opportunity to use.\r\n\r\nWith these resources, the children have been able to engage in interactive learning, complete projects with creativity, and explore new skills that support their education. The iPad and iPencil have been especially helpful for practicing writing, drawing, and problem-solving, while the laptop has allowed us to research, create presentations, and expand our knowledge in exciting new ways. These tools have not only supported academic growth but also boosted confidence and curiosity.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, I want you to know how thrilled and motivated the children were when they first used the new technology. Their faces lit up with excitement, and it was clear how much they appreciated the chance to learn in such an engaging way.
