Having a vacuum right in our classroom allows us to quickly clean up crumbs, paper scraps, and other messes instead of having them remain on the floor for the rest of the day. My students are also learning that taking care of our classroom is everyone's responsibility, and they love seeing our space clean and ready for the next activity.\r\n\r\nThe adhesive magnets are helping us build our classroom vocabulary wall. As we introduce new vocabulary in literacy, math, science, and social studies, we can display the words where students can easily see and reference them. The magnets allow us to add and change words as we move through different units of study. My students are beginning to use the wall as a resource when speaking, writing, and discussing what we are learning.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue expanding our vocabulary wall as students learn new words throughout the year. We want our students to become increasingly independent in using the wall to support their learning and incorporate new vocabulary into their conversations and writing.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping us create a classroom that is both clean and filled with opportunities for learning. Our erasers are getting plenty of use, too, as students learn that making mistakes is a normal part of learning and that they can erase, try again, and keep going!\r\n\r\nThe clipboards have been especially exciting because they allow us to take learning beyond our classroom tables. Students can work around the room, participate in scavenger hunts and learning activities, and take their work with them as we explore different areas of the school. They love having the opportunity to grab a clipboard and become learning \"detectives\"!\r\n\r\nAs the school year continues, my kindergarteners will use these materials across all of our subjects as they practice reading, writing, math, and other important skills. They especially enjoy activities where they can listen, respond, and receive immediate feedback. For some students, using technology has also been a great way to build independence and confidence.
