As I took each item out and showed it I had several who wanted to \"inspect\" the pencil sharpeners. They approved! My artists in the room were excited about the white drawing/construction paper as it meant, \"I could draw for days on that paper.\" I picked \"quiet\" students to be in charge of putting the supplies away in the closet for next year which worked to my advantage as it enabled me to only have to give the quiet signal once! They are just disappointed that all the supplies are packed up for next years class. I am so grateful for Ripple who doubled the donations and made the funding happen so much faster.","fullyFundedDate":1746473493811,"projectUrl":"project/sensational-supplies/9282464/","projectTitle":"Sensational Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Crowley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/eileencrowley"},{"teacherId":1938315,"projectId":9333450,"letterContent":"The book bins arrived and created lots of excitement. The students helped me take down the previous book bins and change them over. They loved the different colors and I allowed them to choose the colors for each module. They all thought the new bins were much better as they had seen the boxes fall on my head when the box had broken. They thought it was the greatest fun to sort the books and place them in the new bins and it gave them the opportunity to revisit the books from previous Modules. One of my girls remarked, \"Ms. Crowley, I am so glad you won't have to worry about hitting your head next year when you have to take them down.\"\r\nAgain a huge thank you.","fullyFundedDate":1747595931546,"projectUrl":"project/book-bins/9333450/","projectTitle":"Book Bins","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Crowley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/eileencrowley"},{"teacherId":1938315,"projectId":8959625,"letterContent":"The multiple copy books arrived just in time. The students are currently working on a unit on Frogs and they had to read, analyze, look at parts of speech and then write their own frog poem using the same style. In order to this they needed copies of several of the frog poems in that book which until the box arrived this past Friday they were unable to do. With the multiple copies I was able to give each group, when they met with me, a copy of the book. As we continue the next two units on Frogs, amphibians and tadpoles I know the extra copies will again come in handy.\r\nThe other multiple copies, Water Dance (Rise and Shine), and The Boy who Harnessed the Wind will be used in our last unit during the third trimester. \r\nOnce again I really appreciate your support.","fullyFundedDate":1733183238874,"projectUrl":"project/books-about-our-world/8959625/","projectTitle":"Books About Our World","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Crowley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/eileencrowley"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_65608","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":323,"numTeachers":31,"percentFrplEligible":64,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":92,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":1,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"10.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":40.4,"schoolId":65608,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Mill Stream Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Mill Stream Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/maine/rsu-54-msad-54/norridgewock-elementary-school/65608"}
