With the addition of a video camera for vlogging, they're not just studying—they're becoming storytellers, creators, and collaborators. Every vlog gives them the chance to share their voices, reflect on their progress, and showcase the incredible things happening in our classrooms. We are just getting started this year and already have had some exciting results. As an introduction to using the vlogging equipment we had a student ask other students, \"What do you think you will be doing in ten years?\" Hoping that this creates more conversation that is insightful and productive. Next up we are planning on giving our STEM class the opportunity to explain what is going to happen in the project using solar cars, show us some of the work to create the cars, building the cars and then some of the cars drive with the camera on it!\r\n\r\nThe students are learning to use high quality video footage and basic editing skills. Some of the students really feel special because this equipment is unique to the education field. Not every kid is using a GoPro to show off what they have learned. \r\n\r\nI have two students in particular who have really felt included thanks to the videography being shared in the hallways. They love photography and are starting to dabble in film making. Your generosity is helping them build future-ready skills while making learning more engaging and meaningful every single day and helping them to document their successes.","fullyFundedDate":1746787365554,"projectUrl":"project/through-the-eagles-eyes/9281301/","projectTitle":"Through the Eagles' Eyes","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Vickers","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5295832_272x272.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1523036710237","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/rvickersgrsu14"},{"teacherId":1569224,"projectId":9439158,"letterContent":"I can't begin to tell you just how much your donations have helped my classroom.
