Three Fall themed books were read aloud to the little students by three 6th grade students who offered to read. After listening to the readings, the students were provided a Fall craft to do with their parents or guardians. Included are a few pictures of the students making the craft. \r\nDuring craft time, the students and parents/guardians were observed to be fully engaged with the activity. Students were excited and having fun. I feel that the family connection was evident. Afterwards, many parents thanked me for providing them a great night with their kiddos.
