They're learning to think more deeply about what they read, to ask questions, and to connect literature to their own lives.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is now a dynamic and joyful part of each day. You'll often see students reading in small groups, discussing characters' choices, or journaling about what a story means to them. There's a hum of excitement when we start a new chapter or a student finds a personal favorite.\r\n\r\nOne student in particular, Jasmine, used to shy away from independent reading. But with the arrival of these new books—especially the graphic novels and realistic fiction titles—she's reading every chance she gets and even leads our class discussions sometimes! Another student, Marco, told me, \"This book made me want to be a writer someday.\"\r\n\r\nYour gift has sparked curiosity, built confidence, and made reading something our students look forward to.
