This simple act reflected growing responsibility and mutual care within the squad. The packages have helped students feel more at ease during long practices and high-energy performances. As a result, students are better able to focus on teamwork, performance, and representing their school with pride.\r\n\r\nWhen students first received the hygiene packages, their reactions were both heartfelt and uplifting. Many expressed excitement and appreciation as they explored the contents of their kits. Several students shared that having access to these supplies helped them feel more confident and less anxious throughout the school day. Others quietly expressed relief, noting that these items are not always readily available at home. The distribution of the hygiene kits fostered a sense of belonging and support within the team. I've watched students who usually struggle to focus calm down after a granola bar or a few minutes with a fidget tool from our calming basket. One student quietly said, \"Now I don't have to pretend I'm okay,\" and that moment reminded me exactly why this project matters. Your generosity is meeting real needs while protecting their dignity and letting them just be kids.\r\nWe are also using these resources to build better behavior and emotional skills. When students feel overwhelmed, they can use reflection sheets, calming tools, and our \"Take a Break\" space instead of acting out. I've already seen fewer outbursts and more students using their words to ask for help or explain how they feel. The pantry is now part of our goal-setting work too, students are learning that when they care for their bodies and emotions, it's easier to focus and participate.
