Because of you, we were able to add two gaming chairs to our esports and shoutcasting space, and they are already making a meaningful impact.\r\n\r\nWe are currently using the chairs during daily esports practices, competitive scrimmages, and shoutcasting sessions where students provide live commentary and match analysis. One moment that really stood out was during a recent scrimmage where our student shoutcasters practiced calling the action in real time. The improved seating allowed them to stay comfortable and focused throughout the entire match, helping them maintain energy, clarity, and professionalism during extended broadcast simulations. Students participating in gameplay rotations were also able to remain engaged and perform at a higher level without physical discomfort becoming a distraction.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the new chairs, their reaction was immediate excitement. They commented on how authentic and \"arena-like\" the space felt. More importantly, they recognized that donors believed in their interests and potential. That sense of support helped reinforce pride in our program and encouraged students to treat the space with respect and responsibility.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, students will continue using the chairs as we develop more advanced esports strategies, run structured team practices, and expand our shoutcasting work into full broadcast-style productions. We are building skills in communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and media production — all within an environment that now better mirrors real-world competitive esports settings.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in our students and helping us create a space where they can compete, communicate, and grow with confidence.","fullyFundedDate":1762266240184,"projectUrl":"project/laes-esports-digital-media-club/9864663/","projectTitle":"LAES Esports & Digital Media Club","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Whitlow","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/coachwhitlow"},{"teacherId":10098764,"projectId":9511160,"letterContent":"\" Mathematical Concepts\" project was a tremendous success for all of my students. After as few as four lessons, I noticed improvements in my students' critical thinking and problem solving skills. Our supplies from my Mathematical Concept Project also led to really great conversations where I was able to solidify the meaning of several math vocabulary words that are used while learning about place value positioning, division and multiplication. I am looking forward to teaching fractions to my students by using the lego guide to teaching fractions that we were graciously given. \r\n\r\n I can not express my appreciation and gratitude for the supplies that were donated to my classroom. I teach at a low income, equity focused school that receives free breakfast and lunch for our students. As a teacher, we are limited to the amount of funds we receive for each school year.
