Thanks to your generosity, we now have enough dry erase markers, erasers, scissors, and reusable write-and-wipe pockets to last us throughout the school year. \r\n\r\nThese tools have made a significant difference in our daily learning activities. The write-and-wipe pockets, in particular, have become a favorite for practicing handwriting, solving math problems, and engaging in interactive lessons that allow for immediate feedback and correction. The colorful test covers have also been a hit—students love the design and often mention how much more focused and confident they feel when using them during assessments. \r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your generous donations to our class.","fullyFundedDate":1745847013765,"projectUrl":"project/stock-up/9099245/","projectTitle":"Stock Up!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Baaheth","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6613051_orig.jpg?crop=2401,2401,x0,y600&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1690903910442","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6613051"},{"teacherId":2801068,"projectId":8116646,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, our students now have access to a set of 24 headphones with microphones—and they've already made a big difference in our classroom. These tools have helped create a focused and productive learning environment, especially during independent work and small group instruction. With the microphones, students can participate in reading fluency programs and language activities that give them immediate feedback. This kind of interaction helps them build confidence, improve their pronunciation, and hear themselves read with clarity—something they couldn't do before in a busy classroom.\r\n\r\nWhat's been most exciting for the students is how \"grown up\" and professional they feel when using the headphones. They love being able to record themselves reading or speaking and then play it back. It's given them a new level of engagement with their learning. One student in particular, who was often shy about speaking in front of others, has really taken to the microphone feature. Now, she volunteers to read aloud and records her reading during centers. The headphones have helped her—and others—find their voice.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in tools that bring learning to life. Your support doesn't just provide equipment—it opens doors and builds confidence in young learners every day.","fullyFundedDate":1705517551243,"projectUrl":"project/silent-learning-party/8116646/","projectTitle":"Silent Learning Party","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Woods","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2801068_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1564949467027","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2801068"},{"teacherId":2801068,"projectId":8161419,"letterContent":"When the leveled readers arrived, my students were immediately drawn to them. Many of them started flipping through the books right away, excited to find stories they could read on their own. It was one of those moments you don't forget—watching their confidence grow simply because the books were at the right level for them. We've since used the readers in our small group time, during independent reading, and even as part of our guided reading lessons. The students are more engaged, and they're starting to see themselves as real readers.\r\n\r\nOne project we've been working on is a reading buddy journal. After finishing a leveled reader, each student writes a few sentences about the book and shares it with a classmate. It's helping them with both comprehension and writing, and it's been great to see them encourage one another. The leveled texts make this possible because every child can participate at their own level. Our next step is to begin building reading stamina by setting small goals and tracking the number of books each student reads independently.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our classroom. These books have made a real difference in helping my students access reading in a way that feels personal, achievable, and exciting.","fullyFundedDate":1708057191498,"projectUrl":"project/book-worms/8161419/","projectTitle":"Book Worms","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Woods","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2801068_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1564949467027","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2801068"},{"teacherId":6613051,"projectId":8813447,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, our class Positive Behavior Awards system has truly transformed the atmosphere in our classroom.
