The classroom is doing great because of donors like you. The children love all the stem related toys that we received from or project at the beginning of the new year. With nearly half the roster being children with special needs the stem toys help them to gain better fine motor development, hand and eye coordination while getting a better understanding of cause and effect. The girls in the class love the camera and we made a special area in the room to hang the photos that are being taken.","fullyFundedDate":1746786265493,"projectUrl":"project/stem-sational-learning/9217961/","projectTitle":"STEM-Sational Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. B.Hoskins","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7903072_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1626170629219","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7903072"},{"teacherId":7903072,"projectId":9176839,"letterContent":"Thanks very much i was so excited to receive the materials for our gross motor problem during the winter months. After putting it all together and finding a place for everything I absolutely cannot wait to see how much it changes the classroom during the cold months of the year. Sorry that school had not started yet because i will also use the donations during the two days a week we do not have gym time. I also cleared the blocks from our center area to put the smaller gross motor stuff in the center. The trampoline is great and should be utilized effortlessly into the class for those kids that have plenty of energy. The boxing block will be used in the calming corner and have two purposes one for motor and the other to relieve stress. The weighted materials are also in a basket at the circle area for kids who need to strengthen arms and legs that are very weak, the compression vest to calm any students that may need it, and the hula hoops are in pieces so they can work to put them together and mix whatever colors they want and then take them apart when done and that will further help muscle development. Thanks you've helped more than you'll ever know.","fullyFundedDate":1746786381653,"projectUrl":"project/winter-motor-function/9176839/","projectTitle":"Winter Motor Function","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. B.Hoskins","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7903072_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1626170629219","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7903072"},{"teacherId":7903072,"projectId":9206000,"letterContent":"The family was so excited when they received everything little angel of a student. She immediately played in the gated area with the bubbles. She also enjoyed having the kinetic sand bucket in her playhouse. While we set up the tent for her she played with the card reader and was chewing on one of the neclaces that was purchased. The parent is going to use the different magnetic pecs as sequencing cards in different places in the house for certain routines for morning , meals, and night time routine. She is going to wear the communication cards. When we got the trampoline up we liked to never got her to leave it. We arranged the sensory toys and other materials on her little shelf. I was so happy to stay for a while to demonstrate how to use the communication cards and tell her how to sequence the cards i. Various places. These books will increase the students skills for critical thinking, encouraged them to explore, analyze, and evaluate information related to certain topics. They already enjoyed looking at all the books provided to our classroom. My children that are nonverbal have really gotten to enjoy pressing the matching button books that tell them the name and give the sound the animals make. Next year with all the different themes we have in our curriculum all the books will be used to provide a more comprehensive coverage of the topics with the literature you have helped to provide.
